I loved this wedding because the bride & groom were a pleasure to work with and photograph, the venue was perfect (I was trigger happy in the lavender but it was brilliant for portraits), the nine ushers (yes nine ushers) and the guests were really good fun, lots of characters and funny things going on.
The William Cecil Hotel in Stamford is cool, elegant, quirky and dates back hundreds of years so has a lot of history plus the staff were really friendly & organised which always helps. The wedding ceremony was held in a private room in the hotel and the meal/evening reception was in a marquee on the grounds – the party tent!
Hayley & Adam met me for a coffee before their wedding & Hayley told me that she really wanted a classic veil shot, I sent her some ideas so we had a few shots in our mind on the day. I think we just about nailed the veil shot with the help of a guest and with a little bit of traffic dodging.
Congratulations Hayley & Adam – you were awesome!
